Our Beliefs

The Bible

The Bible is the infallible word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian Living (II Timothy 3:15-17)

The Gospel

The Gospel is the good news of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature” (Colossians 1:14-15). (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16).

Sin & Salvation

For Salvation we obey the gospel by dying with Christ through repentance of our sins, being buried with Christ through water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and being resurrected with Jesus by receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. (I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4; 37-39; Romans 6:3-4).

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).

Christian Living

We are committed to godly living. we are committed to exercising self-control and not indulging in activities which are not conducive to godly living. “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:11-12).
